Junior Associate

Madrid Office

RPP is currently looking for a Junior Associate to support the team working on policy and government affairs (healthcare, food and agricultural policy, and other potential sectors) in the Madrid office.

RPP is a public affairs consultancy focused on policy creation, development and communication. RPP Group was established as Rohde Public Policy in 2002 with the goal of delivering new conceptual services in the area of public policy and has grown to be one of the most respected and well-established independent policy service providers. Our topical focus and expertise lie in healthcare, research and innovation, social policy, and related trade and market access issues. The RPP Group is today represented in Berlin, Brussels, London, Paris, Warsaw, Rome, and Madrid.

ABOUT THE JOB

Activities and tasks shall include:

  • Monitoring and reporting on political and policy developments in Spain
  • Tracking public health initiatives at national and regional levels
  • Attending and reporting on events and stakeholder meetings
  • Following legislative activity: parliamentary questions, reports, proposals, and more
  • Supporting our consultants with tailored research and ad-hoc insights

The candidates should fulfil the following criteria:

  • Hold a first academic degree (or equivalent) in political science, law, economics, communications, or a related field; a higher degree is an asset.
  • Possess relevant work experience, ideally gained in public institutions, government agencies, interest representation, consulting, or the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for political decision-making and public policy.
  • Be proactive, well-organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Have excellent written and spoken command of both Spanish and English.
  • Be proficient with digital tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Show a strong interest in health, nutrition, or social affairs—candidates are encouraged to highlight this in their application.

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Contract: it is a must be able to sign an internship agreement with the University
  • Start: Dec 2025/Jan 2026
  • Hours: 09:00–18:00 (1-hour lunch break)
  • Compensation: €800/month
